Joel grew up in the Greater New Orleans area, where his father was a leader in sales, and his mother was the office manager in their family's business. From a young age, his parents taught him many things about business, but most importantly, they taught him to treat clients like they are your family. As a realtor, Joel now practices those solid family business values in his own career. Just like God and his family are incredibly important to him, so are his clients. Joel understands that buying a house may come with some challenges, but he loves helping each family through that journey.

Joel likes to spend his spare time reading, hiking, exercising, and participating in community service.

Joel is also a star of the show “Selling the Big Easy” which made its debut on HGTV in 2020. The show follows Brittany and her team as they help clients find the home of their dreams by showing them high-end properties with the right amount of history and charm.
